System-wide testing results: Presently, BOP has 123,232 federal inmates in BOP-managed institutions and 13,802 in community-based facilities. Today's stats:
Completed tests: 101,493 (up from 101,224) Positive tests: 45,161 (up from 44,947) Prison Vaccines: The BOP COVID-19 Update website is now publishing vaccination statistics. Thus far, 31,149 doses have been administered. In several institutions, as many or more inmates as staff have received vaccinations, although, of course, each institution has many more inmates than staff. Death Watch: The BOP had acknowledged two additional inmate fatalities, whose names have not yet been released, raising the inmate death toll to 212. Four inmates died while on home confinement. BOP staff fatalities remain at 3.
